Our team was out in full force today donating to organizations around the Toronto area. They stopped in to donate four laptops to Cameron Helps (Now known as Team Unbreakable). Their objective is to reduce the stigma of youth mental illness, build awareness of the issues, and to promote the positive aspects of physical health on mental health. They raise awareness and help bring people closer to the issues through speaking engagements, workshops, special events, and media.
This donation will go to two employees and two volunteers who are over programs within the organization. They are currently a virtual office organization and effective communication is imperative. This donation will provide the opportunity to upgrade to reliable computers with sufficient speed and capacity to allow their regular program participation. School presentations and software usage can be more reliably delivered with portable laptops.
