The Bowen Island Arts Council (The Hearth – Arts on Bowen) is an arts umbrella organization promoting and supporting arts and culture on Bowen Island.
They received a computer and a laptop from ERA which was needed to ensure efficiency in delivery of their programs and services. Their old computers, which were donated many years ago, were incapable of being updated and this caused technical issues when serving the community. They required high-end devices to ensure they could use the computers for graphics, as they do a lot of promotion through the design and distribution of posters, brochures, etc.
