The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to be part of the BurlingtonGreen’s Zero Waste Drive-Thru Event
On Saturday, May 14th, 2022, BurlingtonGreen is teaming up with the Burlington Centre and the Burlington Repair Cafe to host a Zero Waste Event to help the community repurpose household items and eliminate clutter from their homes and offices while helping the environment. BONUS: you can also conveniently pre-order a rain barrel to pick up at this event too!
The convenient contact-free Drive-Thru component will take place at the Fairview St. facing parking lot at the Burlington Centre from 10am to 4pm where volunteers will gladly accept a variety of items to be properly recycled.
Crew members from the ERA (Electronic Recycling Association) will be on-site to accept computer and cell phone electronics, and a series of Terracycle Zero Waste bins will be located at the drive-thru station to accept more unique waste items not currently accepted in Halton Region’s recycling program.
Pesky candy wrappers, Brita water filters, reusable plastic containers and lids and used PPE can be dropped off, along with batteries and ink cartridges.

REPAIR CAFE!
Our friends at the Burlington Repair Cafe will be located inside the Burlington Centre at the HUB space to repair broken or damaged household items from 10am to 2pm.
