The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the donation of 3 desktop computer, 5 laptops, and 3 projectors to the Calgary Association of the Deaf.
The reason they asked for donation of this equipment is because they had a recent break in and all of their computers were stolen from their offices. The ERA was happy to donate the devices they needed to get their office operational again.
Calgary Association of the Deaf (CAD) is a non-profit organization. The primary purpose of the Calgary Association of the Deaf is to protect and promote the rights, needs and concerns of Deaf Calgarians while endeavoring to improve the quality of life for Deaf people in general.
They are working towards accessible programs and services for the Deaf, late-deafened, Deaf-Blind, and Deaf with multiple disabilities in the primary language of American Sign Language.
Calgary Association of the Deaf is governed by Executive Board of Directors, members and volunteers. They collaborate with their affiliated associations of the Deaf at the local and provincial level. Their programs and services are provided to meet the needs of the Deaf community.
