Calgary Catholic Immigration Services Receives Two Laptops

By electronic recycling association August 8, 2019

CCIS (Calgary Catholic Immigration Society) is a non-profit organization which provides settlement and integration services to all immigrants and refugees in Southern Alberta.

Since their inception in 1981, they have been a community leader with solid experience in the design and delivery of comprehensive services for our newest neighbours. They deliver these services through a dynamic multi-cultural, multi-denominational and multi-disciplinary team of professionals, who collectively speak over 60 languages.

We were pleased to donate 2 laptops to the Calgary Catholic Immigration Services. They will be assigned to one of their clients in need. They will go to a family who moved to Calgary back in November 2017. They have 4 children, aged 12, 8, 6 and 2.5 years. They are just starting to learn English and a computer will help them tremendously with accessing additional school resources for English learning and teaching activities.
