The Calgary Catholic School District educates and empowers students from kindergarten to Grade 12 through their mission of Living and Learning in Catholic Faith. CCSD is the largest Catholic school district in Alberta, serving more than 58,000 students in 116 schools located in Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, and Rocky View County.

All Calgary Catholic schools offer a well-rounded, faith-based education in a caring, inclusive, and nurturing community to meet each student’s unique needs. They provide a wide range of programs mandated by Alberta Education as well as offering a comprehensive choice of additional programs and services in collaboration with their many partners in the community. These programs are designed to support the unique needs of each of their students by providing an array of options to aid in their pursuits and include: Fine Arts, Languages, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Hockey Canada Skills Academy, and Home Education. The values of Catholic faith permeate all programs offered within Calgary Catholic schools. Visit their website here for more information.

“The fundamental goal of education is to inspire all students to achieve success and fulfillment, and reach their full potential by developing the competencies of Engaged Thinkers and Ethical Citizens with an Entrepreneurial Spirit, who contribute to a strong and prosperous economy and society.” – Ministerial Order on Student Learning.

Schlumberger partnered with ERA to donate to three organizations off our waitlist.  We were happy to provide the Calgary Catholic School District with 1 laptop for a large family of four children so that they can do schoolwork at home. They will benefit from having a second laptop in the home. If your organization is looking to provide a new life for your unwanted computers, visit our website here to check out our list of charities, non-profits, schools, and care facilities that are in need.
