The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) was pleased to donate 4 laptops to the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary and College. This donation will be provided to adjunct faculty professors to give them the ability to work from home and is going to be a big help for flexibility of working options.

Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary and College is looking for students who want to be equipped to serve in the hard places, whether that is in a remote village in the Yukon, in downtown Vancouver, or in an international missions setting. As their school seeks to engage lostness across Canada, students are provided many opportunities to participate in ministry as part of their training.

With a low student-to-faculty ratio, CBT affords students an excellent opportunity to interact with mentors and teachers. In addition to their doctoral degrees, professors have spent many years in ministry as pastors in North America, and as international missionaries in places like Croatia, Portugal, Hungary, Scotland, and South Africa. Come and see what God might have on His heart for you at the Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary & College in Cochrane, Alberta. For more information visit their website HERE

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of e-waste and the increasing ‘digital divide’. For over fifteen years, ERA has offered simple solutions to help individuals and organizations prevent operational equipment from premature destruction. With a focus on recovery, refurbishment and reuse, ERA continuously supplies charitable groups with donated IT equipment while securely managing the retiring IT assets of organizations and individuals across Canada.

We believe that reuse before recycling is critical in managing the waste created by computer hardware, and by offering industry-leading data destruction for all equipment we receive, we have securely repurposed hundreds of tons of equipment. Because not everything ERA receives can be reasonably repurposed, we have partnered with certified recycling organizations to process equipment that has reached the end of its productive life.

Because the Electronic Recycling Association is an advocate of equality, we are not specifically affiliated with a given charity. The ERA helps hundreds of charitable organizations each year through the donation of necessary computer equipment. Organizations qualified for donations through ERA’s donation program include: registered charities, non-profit organizations, care facilities (seniors homes, hospitals, daycares, etc.) and educational institutions.
