The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to donate 2 iPads to a charity in Victoria, BC called HeroWork. The tablets will be used by the organization to operate volunteer management on-site as they are moving all online instead of accumulating paper waste.
HeroWork is a charity that renovates other charities through what they like to call “Radical Renovations.” They are able to do this for a fraction of the time and cost.
They put on two renovations per year that are kind of like a Modern-Day Barn Raising or an Extreme Makeover Charity Edition. Bringing the whole community together from specialized trades/professionals, businesses, general volunteers, community organizations, donors, etc.
They are the only ones that do what they do and they are in the process of expanding across the country to help even more charities that are in desperate need of their facilities to be repaired, expanded, or reconfigured in order to continue to serve, improve and multiple their impact.
