Mamas for Mamas Vancouver will receive refurbished laptops from the Electronic Recycling Association for their volunteers.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vancouver, BC – NOVEMBER 24th, 2020
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the donation of 5 laptops to the Vancouver Branch of Mamas for Mamas.
It’s hard enough being a parent without the stress of clothing or food insecurity, lack of appropriate mental health care, and everything else that can easily fall through the cracks in our busy society. Mamas for Mamas is there for those parents who need help navigating eligible resources, applying for social supports, and getting direct intake support while joining this Mamas community that genuinely looks after each other.
Both the ERA and Mamas for Mamas share similar missions based on providing support and relief to our communities across the country. As more Canadians are faced with increased difficulties and adversity, the ERA strives to continually make a greater impact. The upcoming holiday season creates many challenges for those who are less fortunate. These laptops will be used by volunteers to help connect more recipients with the goodwill Mamas for Mamas wishes to fulfill.
“I am truly amazed by Mamas for Mamas remarkable mission in empowering struggling individuals and families. Ever more so during this present time, we proudly offer a donation and our support in sustaining this program. It is heart-warming to know that programs such as these continue to make such an immeasurable amount of positive change in people’s lives.” – Andrew J. Wesolowski, ERA Director.
