ERA Donates Tech to Canadian Art and Leisure Association in Edmonton

By electronic recycling association July 15, 2020

The Electronic Recycling Association receives donation requests from many different charities and non-profits across Canada. It is always interesting to see the variety of organizations and the ways they are involved in supporting and educating the community. The Canadian Art & Leisure Association is a nonprofit organization in Edmonton that promotes, supervises, and produces artists. They implement a variety of play and game (Leisure) in society. The ERA was happy to donate 7 laptops, 8 projectors, and 5 printers to help them in preparation for numerous activities. They are conducting a number of artistic projects and activities and on the leisure side, they are also conducting games like Brain Power Game Show (trivia game), scrabble, and many more. Preparing these activities with computers/laptops makes the process quick and efficient. The devices will also be used in the office and for agents working on different projects and activities who are supposed to carry laptops in the field for the ease of their job.

The ERA works with charities across the country to provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This gives them access to reliable technology while allowing them to apply their resources to what they’re good at: developing programs to help Canadians struggling with poverty, health concerns or are otherwise experiencing misfortune. Because the Electronic Recycling Association is an advocate of equality, we are not specifically affiliated with a given charity. The ERA helps hundreds of charitable organizations each year through the donation of necessary computer equipment. Organizations qualified for donations through ERA’s donation program include: registered charities, non-profit organizations, care facilities (seniors homes, hospitals, daycares, etc.) and educational institutions.
