The ERA Celebrates 15 Years in Business by opening new office in Richmond

Richmond, BC (March 21st 2019) – The Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association (ERA), a nonprofit dedicated to reducing the negative impact e-waste has on our environment, today announced another major milestone by opening up a newer and much larger donation facility in the Richmond area. They will be moving to 1045 11111 Twigg Place, Richmond, BC, V6V 3C9.

“Watching ERA start off as just an idea and branch out into what it has become today, is just phenomenal. 15 years ago I never thought that we would have 10 locations across Canada and in the US. I am thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new warehouse and office in the Richmond area and look forward to the next 15 years of business.” Said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association.

ERA will hold an official opening on April 22nd 2019 (Earth Day), the same day as their Calgary location’s grand opening. Media and the public are more than welcome to attend. To celebrate Earth Day and this non-profit’s 15th year anniversary, they will be accepting drop off donations of laptops and computers and in return they will be shredding your personal and sensitive data for free. If you are a company on a budget or an individual with a low income and are desperately in need of our data’s security services, please visit their office from April 22nd to 27th between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

ERA believes reuse before recycling is the most viable solution for unwanted computers and related electronic equipment, and strives to ensure that operational IT equipment remains in use until its true end of life. ERA works with individuals and corporations to reuse and refurbish computers, laptops and other electronic equipment, and make valuable technology donations to local communities and throughout Canada.

Date: April 22nd to April 27th

Grand Opening Ceremony: April 22nd 2019 (10.00 am)

Time: 9 am to 5 pm (Free Drop off and Shredding Services – one item donated equals one hard drive shredded)
