ERA & the Calgary BBB Teams Up for International E-Waste Day!

In honor of International E-Waste Day the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has partnered with the BBB Serving Southern Alberta and East Kootenay to host a a FREE Electronics Shredding and Recycling Event for consumers & businesses.

Join us Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the BBB Office Parking Lot (#5, 1709 8 Avenue N.E. Calgary, AB) and let us help you safely and securely destroy or recycle your outdated electronic devices.

Get rid of unwanted electronics (computers, laptops, cell phones, gaming consoles, printers, and tablets), while protecting your electronic data & personal information from cyber theft.

Drop off your items and ERA will data clean them and then recycle or refurbish the equipment. As an added bonus, there will be a powerful hard drive shredder onsite, so you can have your data destroyed FREE of charge while you watch.

Recycled and refurbished electronics will be donated to local charities. Nothing will end up in the landfill!

*NOTE: COVID-19 Health & Safety Practices will be in effect at this event. This event is drive-through, so you will be asked to stay in your vehicle and wear a mask when interacting with staff.
