Fraud Prevention Month in North Vancouver

North Vancouver, do you destroy your data properly?

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) North Vancouver Detachment are partnering again to educate students on the importance of data security as well as providing the opportunity to shred your unwanted electronics for FREE.

What:  The ERA will be destroying your hard drives and collect your unwanted electronics for free.  This includes your cell phones with the battery removed. Officers from the North Vancouver RCMP and members of the ERA will provide valuable information to the public on data safety and fraud prevention.

When: Thursday, April 16, 2020

Time: 10:00am to 1:00pm

Where: Pipe Shop Venue – 115 Victory Square Way (just east of Lonsdale Quay Market, behind the Tap and Barrel restaurant)
