Girls Incorporated of Northern Alberta is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. They provide girls 6 to 18 years old with the knowledge and skills needed to break free from gender stereotypes, create social change, be proud of who they are and be confident in their own skin. Girls Inc. delivers life-changing programs that inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Research-based curricula, delivered by trained professionals, equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Girls Incorporated of Northern Alberta’s programs are well developed and researched based, and they partner closely with local schools and youth organizations in order to implement them. Their programmers and volunteers care deeply about the general well-being of their girls, changing the systems within which girls and young women function and working to create an equitable society.

Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta serves communities all over the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and has partnership agreements with organizations throughout Western Canada to deliver their programs and positively influence girls’ lives.

ERA were delighted to donate two computers to this awesome and empowering organization. They will be used mainly by their staff to complete daily tasks. However, students will have access to help complete their assignment in full and on time. Speaking with Leigh Grant-Simms, Program Director at the Girls Incorporated of Northern Alberta she expressed “We thank you and your team for supporting our organization. “
