The Electronic Recycling Association announces a new partnership with Albertan Company PrinterWorks West

Calgary, AB | November 1st, 2018 – The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to announce their partnership with PrinterWorks West. PrinterWorks West is a Calgary and Edmonton based printing service offering top service, sales and solution certifications. PrinterWorks West is the leader in Managed Print Services (MPS) in Alberta, offering workflow and hardware solutions from manufacturers like Canon and HP. This partnership is one of many that ERA has developed over 2018 and will be an extremely promising partnership for years to come, helping organizations with top of the line printers.

To celebrate Giving Tuesday, the Electronic Recycling Association and PrinterWorks West have teamed up to donate 5 Lexmark XS95dhe multifunction printers to organizations in need. This initiative is targeted at Alberta’s Promise partners – non-profit organizations serving children and youth within Calgary and surrounding areas. Applications are now open and will run until November 19 with the recipient(s) to be announced on November 20, 2018.  Apply through ERA’s online application here https://www.electronicrecyclingassociation.ca/apply-for-a-donation/ and reference #printerworkswest in the comment section.

“Over the years we have found that organizations have a greater need for printers than before and nine times out of ten we do not have the quantity or quality to fulfill these requests,” said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling Association. “This partnership is the beginning of something great and our team is looking forward to implementing this initiative for years to come.”

Over the years ERA has specifically donated laptops and computers to organizations in need. This partnership allows them to reach charitable organizations who are in need of printers.

“At PrinterWorks West we have always been troubled by the huge waste of technology products that plague our industry. In partnering with ERA, we are able to be a better steward of the environment as well as assist organizations that may not otherwise be able to source quality copiers and printers needed for them to operate,” said Jonathan Ceaser, Founder and Vice President of PrinterWorks West. “We are extremely excited to be partnering with ERA and look forward to working with their team to help bring our services and expertise to local companies in need.”

About the Electronic Recycling Association

Established in 2004, ERA is a non-profit organization directed to reduce the environmental impact of improperly-discarded toxic electronic waste by offering accessible services to help corporations and individuals manage their retiring IT assets. Through industry leading pickup, data removal and reporting/certification services, ERA provides a full-circle solution for e-waste management. With reuse being ERA’s top priority, every item that is received is examined for any remaining productive life and refurbished for reuse.
