Maliza Capital Receives 2 Computers

By electronic recycling association October 20, 2020

The Electronic Recycling Association is proud to have completed the donation request of Maliza Capital. We provided them with a projector earlier this year, and as promised, delivered on 1 desktop computer and 1 laptop.

Inspired by Swahili, Maliza means “Achievement”, hence Maliza Capital’s desire to assist and support entrepreneurs, communities and organizations in the realization of their projects. Maliza Capital is a non-profit organization constituting itself as a platform for economic, social, and cultural development. Visit their website to learn more.

Maliza Capital is a platform for business connections, promotion, support, and development of projects, activities, and skills. Their primary mission is putting people in contact with carriers of projects and promoters of small and medium-sized enterprises. They also help communities in search of visibility and promotion.

They strive to:

  • Promote entrepreneurial culture in francophone and immigrant communities in Canada, Africa and elsewhere and participate in the economic, social, and cultural development of their communities
  • Contribute to the cooperation of exchanges between so-called developed countries and emerging countries.

With many offices shut down, the ERA has not been able to schedule our typical number of pickups this year. This results in us partially fulfilling donation requests and this is where the Electronic Recycling Association needs your help.

Our vision at the ERA is to foster a better community by reducing electronic waste and enabling the non-profit sector to achieve excellence by providing for their IT needs through computer donation and computer recycling. We do this by refurbishing computers, laptops, monitors, projectors, printers, etc. that we receive. With fewer items coming into our warehouses, our waiting list times have increased.

We have many deserving organizations waiting to receive the gift of technology to ensure their cause thrives. Follow this link to discover who needs your help and drop off your unwanted IT equipment at any of our 7 locations across Canada. The ERA has a fast and efficient pickup service for businesses with larger loads and specific data security requirements. Our representatives would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
