MNA Manon Massé Presents Two Montreal Organizations with Tech

By electronic recycling association February 21, 2020

On January 24th, 2020, we donated a total of 12 laptops to two Montreal organizations. We were thrilled to partner with MNA Manon Massé a member of Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques in Montreal. These 12 laptops were divided between LOVE (Quebec) and Studio XX.

LOVE (Quebec) supports youth to thrive through programs and healthy relationships that build emotional intelligence and help overcome the challenges they face. They will receive five laptops from the ERA. Their participants emerge from LOVE’s programs with greater resilience, heightened skills, and the confidence to be inspirational leaders.

Studio XX is a feminist and bilingual artist center engaged in the exploration, creation and critical reflection in media arts. They will receive seven laptops from the ERA. Studio XX supports the independent production and dissemination of proposals by artists who define themselves as women, Trans, non-binary and queer within contemporary technological practices.

Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the ERA proclaimed, “It is rewarding knowing that respected members of the community like MNA Manon Massé share our vision in creating a more sustainable environment. We are thrilled to provide refurbished laptops to organizations like LOVE and Studio XX. These laptops were donated by businesses who believe in a “Reuse First” approach. ”

Manon Massé MNA is a politician in Quebec and one of the two current leaders for Québec solidaire since 2017. She has represented Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques in the National Assembly of Quebec since the 2014 general election.
