We were thrilled to donate 3 computers, 4 laptops and 4 monitors to the Pacific Cinémathèque Pacifique. This organization was established as a film society four decades ago, and since that time has been one of the most active film organizations in North America, with more than 500 curated film exhibitions annually. They have offered film lovers more international cinema, director retrospectives, contemporary and classic Canadian film works, emerging talents, art house masterpieces, and experimental shorts and features than any other theatre in the province.
They are dedicated to bringing you what they like to think of as essential cinema. Whether new releases, classics or rarely-seen gems, these are movie experiences that stay with you long after you’ve left the theatre: movies that inspire you by their craft and beauty; movies that really stir the emotions; movies that make you question your assumptions; movies that give you a genuine insight into the local, national and global communities to which they belong.
