The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is a not-for-profit charity that helps economically-vulnerable people with emergency food hampers and assistance meeting basic needs. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is a lay Catholic organization. Membership is open to all those who desire to live their faith by serving Christ by serving their neighbours. Volunteers with SSVP are called to do Christ’s work in their own communities.

ERA donated 3 laptops to SSVP. This equipment is passed on to individuals and families who they encounter or who are referred to them for support. Many of the families are new Canadians. They are used by them for studies, for accommodation and job searches and for communicating. Those who have received the equipment have remarked on how windows of opportunity are opened by having the equipment.
