The Electronic Recycling Association was pleased to donate 14 devices to The Apostolic Church International. These 11 desktop computers and 3 laptops will be used by the church for administrative work and community services.
The Apostolic Church International is a Pentecostal, Trinitarian, Evangelical, and Bible-believing church committed to bringing the good news of Jesus Christ as savior and Lord to all people. They are dedicated to using the power of the Holy Spirit to set free those in spiritual bondage. They accept everyone just as they are and work alongside them to get them to accomplish God’s purpose for them. The ERA is a non-profit organization that has been reducing unnecessary electronic waste since 2004. We reduce adverse environmental contribution through electronic recycling, repurposing and through the donation of electronics and other IT Equipment. With a number of drop off locations around Canada based primarily out of Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg, and an electronic pickup service, the ERA provides a meaningful way for organizations and individuals to deal with their old computer equipment in a safe and secure manner that matches or exceeds government standards.
We work with charities across the country to provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This gives them access to reliable technology while allowing them to apply their resources to what they’re good at: developing programs to help Canadians struggling with poverty, health concerns or are otherwise experiencing misfortune. Because the Electronic Recycling Association is an advocate of equality, we are not specifically affiliated with a given charity. The ERA helps hundreds of charitable organizations each year through the donation of necessary computer equipment. Organizations qualified for donations through ERA’s donation program include: registered charities, non-profit organizations, care facilities (seniors homes, hospitals, daycares, etc.) and educational institutions.
