The ERA Celebrates 15 Years in Business by opening new offices in Canada

Canada (April 16th 2019) – The Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association (ERA), a non-profit dedicated to reducing the negative impact e-waste has on our environment, today announced another major milestone by opening up newer and much larger donation facilities in the Vancouver and Calgary area. They will be moving to 1045 11111 Twigg Place, Richmond, BC, V6V 3C9 and in Calgary they will be opening their new head office and warehouse at 803 48th Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 2A7.

“Watching ERA start off as just an idea and branch out into what it has become today, is just phenomenal. 15 years ago I never thought that we would have 10 locations across Canada and the US. I am thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new warehouse and offices in the Richmond and the Calgary area and look forward to the next 15 years of business,” Said Bojan Paduh, Founder and President of the Electronic Recycling (Reusing) Association.

To celebrate Earth Day and this non-profit’s 15th year anniversary, they will be accepting drop off donations of laptops and computers and in return they will be shredding your personal and sensitive data for free at both locations. If you are a company on a budget or an individual with a low income and are desperately in need of our data security services, please visit their offices in Calgary and Richmond from April 22nd to 27th between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

Adding to their grand opening in their Calgary head office, they will be holding a donation event with their long lasting donors Shell Canada. Shell’s External Relations team will be on site at 10 am on Monday April 22nd to assist ERA with a 100 laptop donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary.

  • Date: April 22nd to April 27th
  • Calgary Donation Ceremony of 100 laptops: April 22nd 2019 (10.00 am)
  • Time: 9 am to 5 pm (Free Drop off and Shredding Services – one item donated equals one hard drive shredded)
