The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba Receive 10 iPhones

The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba (LDAM) was founded in 1966 as The Manitoba Association for Children with Learning Disabilities (MACLD) by parents who found support in each other. MACLD was established as an affiliate of the national organization, the Canadian Association for Children with Learning Disabilities. MACLD was incorporated in 1972 and in 1986, their name officially changed to the Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba.

In the beginning, they primarily provided support and referrals to Manitobans. They gradually increased the awareness of learning disabilities through conferences, workshops, and speakers’ bureau. Today, they provide support, advocacy, and programming to support individuals and families impacted by learning disabilities and ADHD. They are grateful for the support of the United Way of Winnipeg and their volunteers who assist them in achieving their goals.

We are thrilled to donate 10 Iphones to this amazing organization. These phones will be used to assist children and adults with their learning capabilities. They specifically will be used for auditory learning with their students.
