United Way’s 1000 Voices Hosts a Parts to PC Workshop

By electronic recycling association August 1, 2019

ERA is teaming up with United Way’s 1000 Voices at Genesis Centre to educate children on how to assemble and dismantle the hardware of a computer and laptop. If your child is interested in IT, this workshop is a great way to develop their computer skills. This is a free workshop that ERA holds once a month throughout the year to empower the future of tomorrow.

The workshop will cater to children between the ages of 12 and 15. Parts to PC will give you hands-on experience taking apart and reassembling a computer. You will also learn about what all of the pieces inside of a computer do and how to install them. The best part is there is no cost to participate!

Date: August 10th 2019

Time:  10.00 am – 12.00 pm

Venue: 1000 Voices at Genesis Centre (7555 Falconridge Blvd NE).
