By electronic recycling association February 13, 2020

For more than 5 years, Women & Children’s Social Networking WNC-SN has devoted its energy to empower children, youth, women, and families to have an escape to a place where they can have a voice, fun, laughter and more. Throughout the various programs, they offer they have something for everyone. WNC-SN cares about the social well-being of our children, youth, women, and families by passionately advocating for the under-represented members of our global family. They promise to ensure that no voice is too quiet to be heard and no Need is too small.

It is their objectives to:

  • Build community capacity
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment for at-risk youths, children and women
  • Provide peer support and informational workshops to youths and women
  • Provide outreach that will connect people to our programs and services locally, nationally and internationally.

The ERA previously provided WNC-SN with laptops and printers to support their Newcomers and Volunteer leadership team geared towards teens aged 13-18 years which was a new initiative. This expansion had not only positively impacted the community but also generated a bigger cause that required the help of the community and businesses to keep it running smoothly. ERA is pleased to continue to support their vision of encouraging community inclusiveness through dialogue to improve individuals’ quality of life by donating 2 monitors to this deserving organization. We look forward to providing them with additional computers in the future once they are made available through the contributions of businesses and individuals that need to dispose of their unwanted IT items. If you are interested in contributing to their cause, book a pickup with ERA today or check out our list of other charities and non-profits that are in need of donated technology and choose one close to your heart that you would like your contribution to go towards.

Financial support is extremely important to WNC-SN as they rely on donations to provide a wide variety of free support programs and services in the community such as Breakfast and Book clubs, Youth Workshops, All- Year Round Toy Drive and more. Consider attending their Annual Fundraising Holiday Dinner to show your support. Would you like to support their purpose of addressing and preventing specific problems faced by families by providing children, youth women, and families with mentoring programs, workshops, and seminars on issues such as anger management, conflict resolution, and effective communication?
